Movie Review: School for Scoundrels

I was a little worried about actually spending money on this one at the theatre, but decided to chance it. Starring John Heder of Napolean Dynamite and Benchwarmers fame, and Billy Bob Thornton.
Heder plays a guy addicted to the self-help books. His life sucks. Nothing ever goes his way. Long story short, a friend of his hooks him up with this "underground class" that tries to help men like this. Billy Bob is the hard-a#@ instructor.
Heder plays a great wimp who actually ends up being pretty confident at the end. It's a fairly cliche movie. There's a nerd. There's a "tough guy". and of course, there's a girl. But it does take some turns that you've never seen before. It was worth the watch. Heder and Thornton were hilarious together. Billy Bob played a great male pig.
Rating: 8 out of 10
