Here's my first crack at NFL picks. If you lose any money using these, well, you're a boob and don't cry to me. Capitalized teams are at home and the spreads are courtesy of Sportsbook.com.
Bengals (-5) over BUCS
Sin-cinnati is tough this year and Gradkowski should get his wake-up call.
Titans (+10.5) over REDSKINS
I know, Tennessee sucks, but they should cover against the struggling 'Skins.
COWBOYS (-13) over Texans
At home vs. the Texans - enough said.
LIONS (+1) over Bills
One point is a pick 'em, so I'll take the home team (and Kitna's starting for my fantasy team this week - I need the mojo).
RAMS (+3) over Seahawks
I like the Rams this year, especially at home. Bolger looks good and Seattle's running game is non-existent.
FALCONS (-3) over Giants
Home field and a rushing game gets it for Altanta.
Eagles (-3) over SAINTS
I know that everyone loves New Orleans and they're in the dome, but I don't get the 3 point spread. Philly is way better than that and should cover easily.
RAVENS (-3) over Panthers
Ravens' D is ridiculous + Panthers the season's biggest disappointment = easy pick.
JETS (-2.5) over Dolphins
NY got spanked last week, so they should come back pretty strong at home no matter who the Fins play at quarterback.
Chargers (-10) at 49ERS
San Diego's D should eat Alex Smith alive and bring him back to reality from his career day last week. I'm pretty sure that my 2-year old daughter could have a career day against Oakland, though.
Chiefs (+7) over STEELERS
I think the Steelers win this game, but they won't cover. Look for a field goal extravaganza here.
Bears (-10.5) over Cardinals
Leinhart got a pretty good first test last week vs. KC, but Chicago's D will really smack him around.
And for the "go ahead and bet the farm" pick:
BRONCOS (-15) over Raiders
Denver at home against Oakland with Art Shell - the spread can't be high enough here.

GOOD THING I DECIDED NOT TO PUT THE HOUSE UP ON THESE PICKS! BETTER LUCK NEXT WEEK KID!
No kidding. Awful, awful picks. On the bright side, this will be a regular Friday feature.
